DISNEY WORLD IS THE MOST FUN!
i love disney world, i love mickey and minnie and i love christmas. but most of all i love my friends. especially that jerk on the right. not minnie, the guy. ryan. jeez, i’d never call minnie a jerk, she’s the sassiest mouse i know. did you even look at her outfit? c’mon. let’s be serious here.

okay. i know. i’m a freak when it comes to all things Disney/Pixar related but seriously. this is an excellent film.
i don’t care if you think you’re too adult to see this movie. it wasn’t made for children. it was made for everyone. Toy Story 3 is one of those films that can captivate you whether this is your very first movie in a movie theater or you’re 105. everyone has had toys that they’ve adored and given personalities to and lived with and cared for. and i do believe that most of us still have that one toy in our homes somewhere so we can be comforted in our time of need. i love that anyone can enjoy this movie and by the end of the movie everyone is crying and cheering and all of us for different reasons.
i made it to the midnight showing of this movie in 3D and i fell in love. watching it again by myself, i’ve had time to process what it is that i fell in love with. i enjoyed every moment of the adventure and how the story progressed. it never dragged, never faltered on the story that was to be told. the characters are all so well defined and we know them so well (can you believe they’ve been around for 15 years?!?). it’s near perfection. now i know it sounds kind of ridiculous since it’s animated, but i don’t think i’m the only one who feels that this movie has changed them.
the characters are toys, but they are a family. they stick together through thick and thin. they care about each other. and that’s what a family is supposed to do. families aren’t always made up of the people you happen to be related to, they are you friends. the people you count on the most. i think that’s one of the most important lessons we can learn.
all in all i think that this movie captures the child in us that we all forget that we have. and yes, there are times where we need to be adults and do things that adults are supposed to do, but our inner child needs to come out and play once in a while. and during Toy Story 3 it can do just that.
