2 awesome things
two awesome things happened tonight in my presence:
- as I left work, they were filming for the new Wonder Woman movie. and i saw them. and it was awesome
- there was an oldsmobile on dubs parked outside a strip club inside a motel 6. just let that sink in for a minute. and relish the awesome.
A Lifetime of Song
i just spent the past hour chronicling my life in song.
why?
i have no clue.
but it sounded like fun, so i did it.
what i did was remember what songs were influential in my musical choices and stylings. one song would remind me of another song and then onward and upward i got a list of about 90 songs that bring me up to speed to about the end of college and the beginning of my adult life. i’d have to say it’s incomplete because i don’t really know where to lead off from after college. i think my musical choices have either stayed constant since then or have regressed into musicals and disney music. so i can’t go on at this time with the list.
i think i’ll publish my list sometime soon. it’s pretty excellent and has a lot of different kinds of songs and all in all makes sense to me because it shows pretty big life changing moments of my life where genres either grow or fade into another. i totally recommend everyone doing this. it’s really eerie how accurate i was or at least seem to be.

- i look pretty darn fly in a pair of leggings, a tunic and a cardigan
- i have ginger locks (not naturally but still pretty awesome ginger locks)
- i have impeccable skin
- seriously, it’s like porcelain a good 90% of the time
- i like to watch really good and really bad tv/movies
- i’m funny, hilarious even
- i like ponies
- i can sew really really good
- i like to wear high heels when i do the dishes or clean my apartment
- i’m a really good person
- i like to listen as well as talk
- sometimes i do stupid things and think they’re funny
- i can do a really good smokey eye
- i like to paint
- i enjoy singing musicals even though i’m not good at it
so there. great things about maggie that YOU should know. take that, america!

Straight up cash is perfectly fine for a birthday gift. this gift insures that i will get something that i will enjoy! i’ll take any denomination as long as they are American dollars (non counterfeit please) i’m a-okay with that. plus, you don’t have to ship it. you can send it in an envelope or even paypal some monies because i’m so internet savvy.
but to be honest, i do really like to unwrap a gift. it’s the fun part of having a birthday. you get to tear off the paper and open the box and have the surprise look. aw, fun!
but i guess you can wrap up the cash in a festive birthday box. yeah. that could work, too…
